🔒 100% Local — Your Calculation Data Never Leaves Your Device
All calculation data, income figures, mileage logs, and saved scenarios are processed and stored locally in your browser via localStorage.
Nothing you type into our calculators is transmitted to a server, because we do not operate a backend that receives it. There is no account, no login, and no database of your financials. You can disconnect from the internet after a page loads and every calculator keeps working — the practical proof of local-only computation.
What We Store, and What We Never See
- Stored only on your device: tax scenario names and results — but only if you click "Save Scenario." Until then, the numbers exist only in the open tab.
- Never collected: names, Social Security numbers, addresses, bank details, or any other personally identifiable information.
- Yours to delete: saved data stays in your browser until you click "Clear All Data" or clear this site's storage manually.
Advertising and Third-Party Cookies
This site is funded by advertising and loads Google AdSense. Third-party ad networks, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, and device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and Google may use a cookie for advertising personalization. You can manage personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings and read how Google uses data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. These advertising cookies are set by the ad network — never by our calculators — and they never receive the income or expense figures you enter.
Analytics
We do not run first-party analytics that collect personally identifiable information, and we do not build profiles of individual users from calculator inputs, because those inputs never leave your device.
Your Control
You can clear all saved data at any time by clicking "Clear All Data" in the Saved Scenarios tab, or by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site. You can also block third-party cookies in your browser settings to limit advertising tracking.

Local-First by Design
Our calculators perform all arithmetic in your browser using JavaScript; there is no server round-trip and no database of your inputs. Refreshing the page or closing the tab clears the working numbers. This "local-first" model is the strongest privacy guarantee we can make: the data never existed on our systems to begin with.
Analytics & Ads
If we use privacy-respecting analytics, it is aggregated and cannot be tied back to your tax figures (which we never receive). Ad partners may use cookies to tailor ads; you can opt out through your browser or Google's Ad Settings. Disabling cookies does not affect calculator function.
Contact & deletions
Any personal information you voluntarily send by email is used only to reply and is deleted on request. Because we store no calculator data, there is nothing for us to export on your behalf.
What We Collect
Nothing from your calculations. Every number you type stays in your browser's local memory and is never uploaded, stored on a server, or shared. We have no account system and no user database.

Children's Privacy
